Winnie Pun, CA, Managing Director, is Head of Public Policy for the Asia Pacific Region. She is also a member of the Asia Pacific Executive Committee.

She was Head of the Asia ex-Japan Institutional Business from July 2005 to March 2016. Before joining BlackRock in 2005, Ms. Pun was the Director of Investments at State Street Global Advisors Asia Limited. In that role, she was responsible for overseeing the passive and quantitative active equities strategies in the Asian markets and was involved in exchange traded funds product development. From 1998 to 2001 she was Head of Disposal and Research at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), responsible for the domestic equities investment portfolio of the Hong Kong Exchange Fund. Before joining the HKMA, she spent five years as the Director of Research and Senior Portfolio Manager at Credit Agricole (formerly Indosuez) Asset Management Asia Ltd. Ms. Pun also spent three years as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Standard Chartered Equitor Asset Management Ltd. She began her career in 1986 in the audit division of Arthur Andersen in Australia.

Ms. Pun is a Chartered Accountant and earned a BComm degree in accounting and economics from the University of Melbourne in 1984.
