Urszula McCormack is a leading regulatory specialist focussing on financial technology, data regulation and financial crime compliance.

Urszula’s work in the technology space covers:

  • payment technologies;
  • financial services licensing;
  • blockchain-based digital assets;
  • digital platforms, including rules-based OTC desks and regulated exchanges; and
  • eKYC / KYC utilities and digital identity projects.

Spanning these areas, she advises on privacy regulation, digital transformation and algorithmic design.

Urszula is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering specialist (CAMS), and helps clients build smart AML/KYC controls, navigate sanctions and WMD non-proliferation issues.

Urszula acts as counsel to HKAB and serves as Co-Chair of the Fintech Association Policy & Advocacy Committee and as a member of the ASIFMA Fintech Working Group.  Qualified to practice
