Tae Seok Clement Yoo (Tae Yoo) serves as Managing Director in Markets Division’s Sales & Marketing department. He is responsible for covering business development initiatives and relationship engagement of institutional clients across sell-side exchange participants, buy-side investors, custody banks and OTC clear platform.

Tae has over 27 years of industry experience with 14 years at CME Group in Singapore and Chicago. Since joining HKEx in 2011, he was responsible for Platform Development & Strategy, Client Business Development and FIC Development. He was a key member of stock & bond connect launch, OTC Clear launch, BRICS exchanges alliance and London Metal Exchange (LME) acquisition. Prior to CME, he worked at Sumitomo Mitsui Bank and at Goldman Sachs & Co in Chicago.

Tae has been named an inventor on nine U.S. patents on derivatives risk management applications.
