Sue has led legal, risk and compliance functions for over 25 years in South Africa, Australia and Hong Kong for a number of financial institutions, with staff located in over 15 countries.  She joined Macquarie Group as Head of Compliance for their retail business in 2013, moving to Hong Kong as Head of Compliance for Asia, covering all businesses in 2017.

She is a member of Macquarie’s Asia Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee and is an executive sponsor of the Asia Women’s Network, which focuses on career development and opportunity for women across Asia. Sue has a passion for developing and leading high performing teams and has a keen interest in the what the future opportunities and challenges are for Compliance Officers as businesses and risks rapidly evolve.
