Steve Duckworth is a Senior Partner with ERM and Sales and Business Development Director for ERM’s operations in Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.

Steve is a Chartered Waste Manager and has over 30 years’ experience in identifying, assessing and managing environmental and social risks in infrastructure development for both project developers and lending financial institutions. Project related experience includes ports, rail, road, power, mining, oil & gas/LNG, pipelines and waste management in geographies across Asia over a 24 year period. Steve has advised Export Credit Agencies, Commercial Banks, Multilateral Development Banks and Credit Agencies in environmental and social screening and due-diligence.

In Hong Kong Steve has led ERM’s environmental advisory work for the Hong Kong Government or for waste contractors in the development of Hong Kong’s waste management infrastructure including waste recovery, transfer and disposal facilities.
