Mr. Cao Shounian is currently the Chief Executive of China Construction Bank Hong Kong Financial Markets Centre, as well as the Deputy Chief Executive of China Construction Bank, Hong Kong Branch. He leads the foreign currency market, overseas bond portfolio management and also the forex trading business of China Construction Bank.

Mr. Cao has joined China Construction Bank since July 2005. Throughout his more than 17-year career at China Construction Bank, he has been proactively engaged in the management of the financial markets business including FX、fixed income and money market. With the experience and knowledge in global markets business, Mr. Cao also made contributions to the development of China Bond Market. Before working at the Bank, he was an employee responsible for the reserve management in  State Administration of Foreign Exchange .

Mr. Cao is a holder of Master of Public Administration from Tsinghua University and Bachelor degree from Renmin University of China.
