Shirley Lui is an associate director at S&P Global Ratings’ Sustainable Finance team. Based in Hong Kong Shirley conducts ESG Evaluations and Sustainable Financing Options for corporate clients across the Asia-Pacific region.

Prior to joining S&P Global Ratings, Shirley worked in the environmental and sustainability consulting field for twelve years in the construction and real estate industries. She was previously the sustainability manager at Hysan Development Company Ltd., where she developed and implemented sustainability strategies, and organized programmes to build awareness among internal and external stakeholders. Prior to that role, she was the manager, ESG Reporting at Ascent Partners Advisory Services Ltd., where she supported clients from Hong Kong and mainland China on carbon calculations and sustainability reporting.

Shirley holds a Master of Science in Environmental Management from the University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Science in environmental Science and Community Design from Dalhousie University (Canada). She is also an accredited BEAM Professional (Hong Kong Green Building Council).
