The Singapore and Shanghai based team has for many years ranked Top 3 in the benchmark The Asset global bond investor poll for APAC Credit Research and Strategy, and in the 2020 market volatility ANZ’s APAC Credit Trading consistently dominated MarketAxess electronic trading volumes for offshore US dollar China/HK, India, and Korea, alongside domestic #1 rankings from Peter Lee and KangaNews polls in AUD bond markets. Owen has over 20 years distressed and up sell-side and buy-side corporate bond market experience across London, Tokyo, and Singapore working for the major US, European, and Regional institutions. Other Awards include AsiaMoney #1 for China and Asia Credit Research, Greenwich Survey for Asia Credit Research, and KangaNews for Asia Fixed Income Research. Previous to ANZ Owen was Director Special Situations Citigroup Tokyo, Partner Head Asia Pacific Credit Research at Cheyne Capital London, and Head Asia Credit Strategy at Natwest/RBS Singapore. Owen is a Fellow at the Asian Financial Think Tank (AFTT), CFA UK Certified in ESG Investing, and UN PRI Advanced Responsible Investment Analysis.
