Mark is a passionate security advocate who leads Google Cloud’s team of Security specialists in Asia Pacific. With over 20 years of security domain expertise across the financial, government, telecommunications and education industries, he helps organizations adopt cloud computing with a risk based approach.

Mark is deeply familiar with Enterprise Identity and Access Management and Security Operations. He believes cloud computing offers greater control, standardization and visibility of infrastructure and data, and this in turn enables companies to improve, leverage and simplify their IT operational environment.

Prior to joining Google Cloud, he spent eight years at IBM where he led the APAC Security Tiger Team, and developed the IBM Enterprise Security Maturity Workshop executed at over 150 clients worldwide.

Mark has a Bachelor’s Degree in Network Computing with an emphasis on Network Applications from Monash University in Australia. And has co-authored a patent in providing mobile application specific threat metrics.
