Les Collett is a banker by profession having worked in the industry for well over 30 years. Much of this time was spent in the loan markets of Europe and, since January 2007, Hong Kong first with Calyon (now Credit Agricole CIB) and subsequently with Standard Bank of South Africa, where he was Head of Loan Syndication and Distribution for Asia Pacific.

Les joined Aon Risk Solutions in August 2016 and is a member of the Structured & Capital Solutions team for Asia.

Les is a Board member of the Asia Pacific Loan Market Association (APLMA). He is also the Company Secretary and a member of the Executive Committee. Additionally, from 2008 to 2016 he undertook the role of Treasurer.

Les holds the Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers qualification (ACIB) as well as several SFA, HKMA and HKCIB qualifications.
