As the chief compliance officer for Asia Pacific at Wellington Management, Karen is responsible for developing and managing the APAC compliance programs and team. Prior to joining Wellington Management in 2009, Karen worked as the compliance officer of a corporate finance firm for a year, after serving in the Investment Products Department of the SFC for three years. She began her career as an external auditor with the Financial Services Group of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Auckland, New Zealand.

Karen earned her JD from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and her BCom(Hons) from the University of Auckland. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and is qualified as a Chartered Accountant in New Zealand and a Certified Public Accountant in Hong Kong.
