Julie Wan is a Managing Director, APAC Markets Controls and Regulatory Chief Operating Officer at Credit Suisse. She is based in Hong Kong. Before assuming her current role, Ms. Wan held a dual hat role at Credit Suisse as Managing Director, Head of APAC Markets Compliance and Head of APAC Financing Group Compliance. She has over 15 years industry experience predominantly in London, covering EMEA region and also in Hong Kong, covering APAC region. She started her career at Ernst & Young, then Goldman Sachs, Citi and Morgan Stanley, in various roles across three lines of defence, from Audit, Compliance and also in the front office in Hybrid Derivatives Structuring. Ms. Wan holds a LLB in Law from UCL and is a Qualified Chartered Accountant in both UK and Hong Kong.
