Helge has around 18 years of experience in the financial industry, and currently heads the Sustainable Finance (“SF”) and Global Capital Markets (“GCM”) Teams of ING in Asia Pacific, which comprises colleagues based in Singapore, Seoul and Sydney. Prior to joining ING, Helge worked at Deutsche Bank and UniCredit Group being based in London, Singapore and Hong Kong.

The SF Team provides sustainability-related advisory services to clients and executes sustainable finance transactions across products such as loans, bonds and derivatives. The GCM team advises on and executes funding and capital solutions on global capital markets.

Helge is part of ING’s SF and GCM Global Management Teams as well as a representative in the bank’s regional Greenlight Committee.

Helge is a CFA charter holder, and holds a Masters degree in Economics from Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich. Additionally, he holds a postgraduate degree on sustainability from Cambridge University.
