Hai Ou is a certificate holder of both CICPA and RTA. She is also the senior member of the FCCA   and executive auditor for PAS 2050 – Carbon Footprint.

Hai Ou has worked at accounting firm, Carbon Asset Management and companies that are listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and served as Audit manager, Finance manager, Finance Director and Executive Director respectively.

From November 2010 to April 2015, Hai Ou served as the president of China Emissions Exchange, Shenzhen. She is a leader and practitioner in China’s carbon trading market. She contributes greatly to the development of China’s carbon market, she has plentiful experience and resources in the development of green finance.

On January 21, 2021, Hai Ou joined the preparatory committee of Shenzhen Green Finance Association to plan for the establishment of Shenzhen Green Finance Association. Since July 2021, Hai Ou serves as the Secretary General of Shenzhen Green Finance Association.
