Gaetano Bassolino, joined UBS in 2000 as a Graduate Trainee Program (GTP) at Debt Capital Markets (DCM) Group in 2000 in London. He held a number of roles in DCM, including Co-Head of Corporates for Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). 

Gaetano moved to Fixed Income Sales in London in 2009 where he was focused on Derivatives and Emerging Markets. He was appointed Head Solutions Sales for EMEA in 2012. He moved to HK in October 2015 and he runs Capital Markets starting first in DCM, Financing and Client Solutions and was asked to head all Capital Markets products in Early 2018. With the restructuring of the IB and subsequent changes, Gaetano became Head of Global Banking, Asia Pacific in January 2020. 

During recent years, Gaetano has completed a number of high profile transactions across Public and Private sides with clients in Continental Europe, Central & Eastern Europe, Europe, Middle East & Africa (CEEMEA) and Asia. 

Gaetano holds a Degree in Economics and Business with 110/110 cum laude from Universita’ degli Studi “Federico II” of Naples, Italy.
