Desiree Wang, Managing Director, is the China Country Head of J.P. Morgan Asset Management
(JPMAM).

Desiree has more than 23 years of industry experience. She joined JPMAM in 2008 as a client advisor for Chinese institutions. She took up the role as Head of China Institutional Business in 2009 and expanded her responsibilities as China Country Head in 2014.

In between 2016 to 2021, she was the Legal Representative and General Manager of J.P. Morgan Asset
Management (China) Limited (WFOE).

Desiree’s career began with Head Office of ICBC in Beijing. Prior to joining the firm she worked for
BlackRock from 2004 to 2008, where she was based in Hong Kong with a focus on developing the
outbound investment business for Chinese clients.

Desiree obtained an MSc degree in Finance (with Distinction) from the University of Manchester in the
UK, and a BA in Economics from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing. She is also a CFA Charterholder
