A senior associate in the Litigation practice, Cáitrín’s practice focuses on multijurisdictional compliance reviews and internal investigations for multinationals operating across the Asia Pacific region. She frequently acts as lead investigator and has conducted internal investigations related to conduct in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, India, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Taiwan, and Vietnam. She also regularly speaks about and conducts training on anti-corruption compliance, including related to the challenges posed by the rampant use of instant messaging.

Fluent in Mandarin, Cáitrín first lived in China as a high school exchange student with the first program that allowed U.S. students to live with Chinese families. In the more than two decades since, her studies and work have focused on Greater China, from majoring in Chinese History at Stanford, to conducting oral histories in the Chinese countryside as a Fulbright Fellow, to her current legal work.
