Boon-Hiong Chan is an experienced market advocator and product builder with over 20 years of experience.

He is currently responsible for the development and transformation of the Fund Services product family. In his securities market and technology market change and regulatory advocacy role for Asia, he represents his firm to pathfind and contribute to changes via industry associations and private-public forum including in ASIFMA. He was a Sherpa in an APEC Finance Ministers’ Process and a member of a Singapore APEC delegation.

In financial services’ intersection with technology and regulations, Boon is specialising into public chains. He has worked with fintechs to launch cross-chain interoperability POCs, smart contract applications in tokenised securities and digitised fund services. He has presented on AI risks and differences with traditional tech and is presently working on a large language model prototype.

Boon is a community volunteer, and a proponent of social-technology compact, financial inclusion and literacy. He holds professional accountancy, computation/AI, and cybersecurity & policy qualifications.
