Anatoly has a Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Laws degree with Honours in Finance and Master of Law and Management from UNSW.

Anatoly started his career with the Reserve Bank of Australia working across financial markets research, liquidity forecasting and dealing support and compliance. He then moved to HSBC providing compliance coverage for global markets, debt capital markets, asset management, custody & clearing, and personal financial services. Anatoly spent 7 years with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, including last 3 as the head of Compliance for Australia, prior to joining Optiver as the Chief Compliance Officer for APAC in May 2017.

Anatoly has been an adjunct lecturer at the University of New South Wales since 2000, teaching across undergraduate, masters and MBA programs. His focus is on risk management, conduct risk, corporate governance and regulatory technology.
