Eugenie Shen, managing director and head of asset management at the Asia Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, said she has been receiving calls from operators in Europe and the U.K. about the “Asian experience” when it comes to T+1 and how it affects Asian investors.

“The important thing to know is the world is interconnected, especially for the fund management industry,” Asifma’s Shen said.
