ASIFMA / Saudi Exchange – Exploring Opportunities in the Saudi Capital Markets

Thursday,4 May 2023, Virtual Event
Time: 16:00 – 17:00 HKT/CST/SGT (Time Zone Converter)

Summary

Developments and Opportunities in the Saudi Exchange:

Saudi Exchange is ranked the largest in GCC and MENA regions, and the 3rd largest among its top emerging market peers. As of Feb 2023, Saudi Exchange is valued at SAR 9.72 trillion (USD 2.59 trillion) by Market Cap – Main Market, SAR 8.46 million ($2.26 million) in value traded (source WFE). Over the past 15 years, the number of financial institutions operating in the KSA has increased significantly with most of the large international players having now built their presence there. KSA capital is attracting interest beyond its traditional European and US stakeholders. Asia Pacific – China in particular – is leading the group of newly interested parties. To better understand the KSA capital markets and their opportunities, ASIFMA and Saudi Exchange are organizing a webinar on May 4th, 2023. During the session, the panelists and contributors will provide an overview of the Saudi economy, its financial market infrastructures, landscape, product offering, and regulatory requirements to access the market.

At ASIFMA, we are committed to ensuring diversity and inclusion in our workplace and this policy is applied in all areas of our business including speaker roles at our events and conferences.  We wish to work with members and partners who share this same commitment and are willing to support this policy. We welcome your feedback on content.
