About the event
Building on the successful and high momentum in the industry, the ASIFMA Annual Conference 2016 was an industry-wide event, providing a unique opportunity for global and regional policy makers, high-level regulators and industry representatives from both sell-side and buy-side firms to meet and discuss important issues affecting the development of Asia’s capital markets.
In 2016, ASIFMA’s annual conference celebrated ten years in Asia. It attracted over 400 high-caliber participants from within the region and around the globe. Well-established as a cornerstone industry event, the conference spanned two days and covered a wide range of topics featuring regulators, policy makers and leading industry experts.
The annual conference was designed to rotate among key locations across the region and this year the event was held in Singapore given its significance as an international financial hub.
