FS-ISAC is a member owned non-profit with over 7,000 member financial institutions worldwide. Working as a neighborhood watch for the financial sector, member firms share the threats and incidents they have experienced via mailing lists, alerts on a secure portal and via machine to machine automation.

Since 2016 Ray has been responsible for all FS-ISAC activities outside the United States including the offices in London and Singapore and additional staff in Tokyo, Toronto, Sao Paulo and Melbourne.

Previously Ray spent 5 years at UBS as Head of Security Programs and 12 years in financial services at UBS, Citibank and Lombard Odier. Ray has managed projects and programs covering all aspects of information security: cyber threat management, data protection, security monitoring and identity & vulnerability management.

During 25 years’ in IT he has performed every job in the data centre. He is a Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP) and holds a number of other IT certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) and Managing Successful Programs (MSP).

A British citizen, Ray has a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Psychology from Bristol University, UK.
