Mark Schaedel is Managing Director and Head of Index Services at IHS Markit Index Services and CEO of IHS Markit Benchmark Administration Ltd. which provides benchmark regulatory compliance solutions to benchmark administrators in and outside of the EU. Mark has been with Markit since 2013 and was previously Co-Founder of The COBA Project Ltd., a UK market structure company and prior to that was Head of Information Services at NYSE Euronext and a founding executive board member of NYSE Technologies. Mark began his career in equity trading and operations and later became COO and co-founder of StreetServe Inc., a consortium of US self-regulatory organizations. Mark has completed post graduate work at both INSEAD and Harvard Business School and BSc in Management and BSc in Marketing from University of South Carolina.
