Cecile Bartenieff

Chief Executive Officer, Asia Pacific
Societe Generale

Cecile Bartenieff is Chief Executive Officer at Societe
Generale Asia Pacific since January 2022. She is a
member of Societe Generale Group Management
Committee and a board member of the Societe
Generale Foundation. She is also one of the French
Foreign Trade Advisors (Conseiller du Commerce
extérieur de la France), counsellor at the Hong Kong
French Chamber, and has been named as winner in the
WeQual Awards.

Cecile has more than 30 years of experience in the
financial services industry. She began her career at
Accenture’s consulting division before joining the
banking industry where she worked successively as an
Arbitrage trader, and then in sales for large corporates.
Cecile joined Societe Generale in 2000 where she held
various managerial positions within the Corporate and
Investment Banking business. In 2014, she was
nominated Head of Operations, and in 2017 as Chief
Operating Officer of Global Banking & Investor
Solutions.

Cecile Bartenieff holds a Master’s degree in Business
Administration from the ESSEC Business School.
