“ASIFMA’s Asset Management Group (AAMG) has published a new report offering recommendations for Asian jurisdictions on adopting the ISSB Standards.
The report is intended to provide a tool to help regulators and listed companies adopt the ISSB Standards in a way that ensures alignment with expectations from global investors operating in the region.
The ISSB standards were delivered in June 2023 and then endorsed by IOSCO the following month – to provide a global baseline standard to improve the consistency, comparability and usefulness of sustainability (IFRS S1) and climate-related (IFRS S2) disclosures.”
