ASIFMA – ICMA – Convergence Webinar: Scaling Blended Finance in Asia

Tuesday, 11 June 2024, Virtual Event
Time: 16:00 – 17:30 HKT/CST/SGT (Time Zone Converter)

Summary

Blended finance is the strategic use of development funds to attract mainstream private sector capital (at market rate) to address market failures. SDG financing gap in emerging markets has been widening over the years, given the challenges the world is facing around climate change, social development (health and education), and supporting communities to build resilience. This webinar will introduce key trends globally and, in the region, introduce blended finance archetypes and have a rich panel discussion about the advantages, challenges, explore potential use cases and opportunities in Asia.

At ASIFMA, we are committed to ensuring diversity and inclusion in our workplace and this policy is applied in all areas of our business including speaker roles at our events and conferences.  We wish to work with members and partners who share this same commitment and are willing to support this policy. We welcome your feedback on content. You can email: wsargent@asifma.org.
