Mr. Uttam Bagri is an Indian financial market professional with over 25 years of experience in the Indian Financial Markets space. He is the Mumbai based third-generation promoter director of the 65-year-old BCB Group (flagship company BCB Brokerage Private Limited), an Indian financial services group since 1958 primarily engaged in Stock Broking and Investment Banking activities.

He is a university rank holder commerce graduate and has completed his post-graduation in management from the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad.

He is active in the Indian Capital Markets policy space, having served on the past on the Board of BSE Limited and various committees of Indian Market Infrastructure Institutions (Stock Exchanges, Clearing Corporations and Depositories). He has chaired the Indian broker association Bombay Stock Exchange Brokers Forum (BBF). He has also served on various advisory committees of Indian regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) including the SEBI Committee on “Strengthening Governance of Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs)” chaired by Shri G Mahalingam (2022).

He is currently a member of the SEBI Intermediary Advisory Committee and Sherpa of the Brokers Industry Standards Forum.
