Alan Yang is the Resiliency Lead for AWS Security Assurance for Asia Pacific and Japan at Amazon Web Services. He engages with strategic executive-level regulators, customers and partners on their perception and requirements for Operational Resilience and drives uplifts in new programs, product features and operational changes to meet evolving requirements for Operational Resilience in regulated sectors including Financial Services and Public Sector.

Based in Singapore, Alan partners with various AWS teams to enable the deployment of regulated workloads on AWS that meets bespoke operational resilience requirements of customers. Prior to joining AWS, he led operational resilience planning for global financial institutions which includes Standard Chartered Bank, United Overseas Bank, Credit Suisse and has extensive service management experience at JP Morgan and Bank of America.
