Nicole is leading the development of the Australian Sustainable Finance Taxonomy at the Australian Sustainable Finance Institute (ASFI), working closely with government and regulators to develop common definitions for sustainable economic activities and investments. Nicole has a background in climate and sustainability across government, banking, private equity and law.

In the public service, she led the Australian Government’s engagement with the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD), representing Australia on the TNFD Stewardship Council. Prior to this she led the reviews and research function at the Australian Climate Change Authority.

Nicole holds a Master of Laws in international trade and post-graduate qualifications in finance and economics.
