Anupam Verma heads the International Business of ICICI Bank at IFSC GIFT City which helps global funds and investors to participate in the India growth story and provides Indian funds as well as affluent Indians with a platform for their global banking needs. He has a management degree from XLRI, Jamshedpur and an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. He began his career with ICICI Ltd in 1999 in the Project Financing Group. Later, he moved to Corporate Banking of ICICI Bank in 2002 where he was responsible for coverage and delivering solutions across Commercial Banking, Treasury and Investment Banking products. In 2009, he moved to International Banking as head of its Financial Institutions business. Prior to his current role, he was the Chief Executive of ICICI Bank, Singapore and Regional Head for South East Asia. He has been associated with Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA) on multiple initiatives. He has been a mentor under the SINDA Indian Business Leaders Roundtable (IBR) mentoring program for polytechnic students.
