Dave Hannigan is a Director of Security and Compliance at Google Cloud. He works in the Office of the CISO helping companies build and execute their security strategies as well as owning product security for Google Cloud. Dave has been in security for 20 years accumulating a vast amount of experience in security consulting; product security, security engineering, operations and compliance. He’s a progressive thinking CISO with a track record of managing highly effective security teams in both regulated and unregulated industries. Most recently he was the CISO of Spotify. Prior to Spotify, Dave had multiple roles at Capital One, among them: leading the security engineering and architecture teams and ending as the Chief Cyber Risk Officer. He’s a passionate foodie that enjoys cooking as much as eating.
