Chairman Andrew Ng
Group Executive, Head of Treasury and Markets
Mr Andrew Ng is Group Executive of DBS & Head of Treasury and Markets. He joined DBS in 2000 and was named Managing Director and Regional Head of Trading in 2005.
Since 2006, Andrew has been instrumental in leading DBS Treasury and Market’s expansion in the region. In addition, he helped build a pan-Asia trading platform on different asset classes and established a region-wide local currencies derivative capability
for the bank. He has also expanded DBS’ capabilities in generic and exotic derivatives.
Andrew has worked in the treasury business for over 30 years. Prior to joining DBS, he was Executive Director at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce from 1995 to 1999. In that role, he set up CIBC’s trading platform and derivative capabilities on Asian
currencies. Between 1986 and 1995, Andrew was Head of North Asia Trading and Treasurer of Chase Manhattan Bank in Taipei.
Vice Chairman Filippo Gori
of Sales & Marketing for Markets & Investor Services, Asia Pacific
As head of Asia Pacific Sales & Marketing for Markets & Investor Services, Filippo is responsible for leading an integrated client sales and marketing strategy across the firm's global Equities, Fixed Income, Futures, Commodities, Investor Services and Investor Client Management
businesses in the region. Based in Hong Kong, Filippo is a member of the J.P. Morgan Asia Pacific Management Committee as well as a Director and Alternate Chief Executive of J.P. Morgan Securities (Asia Pacific) Limited.
Before taking up his current role in April 2014, Filippo was deputy head of Sales & Marketing for Markets & Investor Services in Asia Pacific, a position he was appointed to in November 2013. Prior to this, Filippo was co-head of Sales & Marketing for Southern Europe, which
included Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece. In the earlier stages of Filippo’s career – after joining J.P. Morgan originally as a graduate in 1999 – he held several roles in both front office and support functions within the Investment Bank and Asset Management spanning Europe.
Filippo is a board member of the Asia Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (ASIFMA). He has lived and worked in London, Milan and Hong Kong and is fluent in both English and Italian. Filippo holds a Master of Science in Economics (Honours) from Bocconi University and his thesis
in Economic History was published in 1999.
